Position: Administrative Assistant

Duty station: Windhoek

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filling, typing, copying, binding , scanning etc
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
  • Interacting with stakeholders in a professional conduct
  • Make travel arrangements for senior staff such as bookings and reservations
  • Able to work independently , self motivated and result driven

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience
  • Grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate in office administration or business administration

Skills and competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and time management
  • Proficient in English and Afrikaans
  • Administrative writing skills
  • Knowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, Power point and adobe acrobat
